The Circleville Connection

In the spring of 2000, Marshall began testing the electromagnetic field that he felt held promise the most promise toward acheiving his goal - effecting time as he traveled forward through space. In this case, the space would be that on the highway, in fact, he hadn't even begun to think of space travel yet. He decided to use the highway between Columbus, OH and Circleville as a test road because it is usually quiet even during the day. The highway was State RT. 104. It also took the same amount of time to travel in both directions at the speed limit of 55 mph - 24 minutes. Marshall soon found out that with his invention switched on, envleoping the front nd of the car, it only took 22 minutes, each and every time. Marshall told no one about his experiments for an entire year, making sure that he was correct in his findings and testing it under all weather conditions.

In 2001, he finally told his friends who of course, didn't believe him - that is until they experienced it themselves! The following year Marshall was confident enough in his technology to approach the Circleville Herald about doing a story. Reporter Mike Pratt went on a test run with Marshall and in fact, kept time with his own watch. It worked exactly as Marshall had predicted -24 minutes with the field off and 22 with the field on! The subsequent article took up nearly the entire front page of the paper. The phones at the paper rang off the hook as readers couldn't believe their eyes and thought it was a joke.
